Blue Dragon is an Oyster 55 that has circumnavigated with her former owners. We were honored to be chosen to handle
the rigging refit here at Port Annapolis for the new owner. We decommissioned her rig in order to completely repaint, rewire and re-rig the boat. White Awl Grip paint was applied. New custom clevis pins were machined to fit the original Hood tangs. New LED lighting was installed including spreader lights, deck flood light, steaming light and masthead tri-color/ anchor. We built new standing rigging using rotary-swaged terminals and new Hayn turnbuckles throughout. Blue Dragon also got the royal treatment with the addition of a Harken electric furler and a full service of her mainsail furler.When all the work was done all of the parts, spars and rigging were shipped to Detroit to meet the boat at her new home to continue being fitted out.
